How could I forget you. You did so much to help the young women at Common Unity. Those who are still there wish you would return and give them more confidence and give them the will and support they need to move out of bad relationships and get on with the future.

You made a difference and we are grateful to you. I frequently "sing" your praises and plead for funds to have you back. Your web site is terrific. The animation is great and concrete shoes, what a concept. The poem of what a woman should have is wonderful.

You have hit on every needed service. I am sure you have and will continue to affect more lives and bring about positive change.

To Whom It May Concern,

     On behalf of all the residents and staff of the Common Unity Program, I would like to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude towards the E.M.B.R.A.C.E. team for donating their time and service to educate the residents of our program about self respect and self empowerment. Each member of the team  had a story to tell that all residents could relate to, and they responded very positively to the message shared by E.M.B.R.A.C.E.  They inspired active participation and encouraged each young woman in our program to not only learn to love and support herself but also to seek support from and offer support for others.

     E.M.B.R.A.C.E. communicates the importance of setting boundaries in relationships and committing to those boundaries in order to break the cycle of domestic violence and abuse. It is essential that every woman receives and accepts this vital message in order to improve the quality of her life. For this reason, I recommend E.M.B.R.A.C.E. to any organization or program that seeks to empower all women regardless of age or background.

Words cannot adequately express the amount of respect E.M.B.R.A.C.E. has gained from myself and the young ladies of Common Unity for opening our hearts and minds to a new perspective on life and a renewed sense of hope that no other person has the power to erase.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

The presentation given by Leon L. Adams was incredible.  Mr. Adams was very clear about his ideas, his delivery was spoken with such honesty, he made sense of everything that's never made sense to me whatsoever.  The quotes he used were also very powerful.  

I felt like crying at some points in the presentation simply because he spoke the truth. I could honestly tell he cares about the women of today and their well being. Leon spoke with such compassion and heart, he truly touched my soul.

I've learned to put myself first, and that doing so is alright. We as women deserve what we want... no ifs, ands or buts about it. Hearing a man tell it like it was, no B*S*, opened my eyes like never before. 

My favorite part of Leon's presentation was his honestly and willingness to listen to our point of view. He truly cares about the lives of young women in America. His outlook is TRUTHFUL and extremely HELPFUL. He has changed my outlook on life for the REST of my life.
